Angel Ambassador : Carla Fraser
Actress & Film Producer
Carla is a UK Actor & film-maker with a passion for conservation & animal welfare. Her recent film ‘Grey Future’ will be screened at the ‘Wildlife Conservation Film Festival’ (WCFF) in New York and Los Angeles, as well as a screening at the Royal Geographic Society in London.
The concept that rhinos & elephants could become extinct in our lifetime is a shocking statement and one that is hard to comprehend; Grey Future is a dramatisation of just that. This film spans into the future, showing us the headlines we hope to never see, and the damaged planet we leave for our next generation.
Carla is currently writing her next film, which will primarily be for viewing in consumer countries of rhino horn; as well as working with ‘IAPWA’ as ‘Head of creative & Rhino Ambassador’, with immediate focus on Sumatran Rhinos.
Even as a teenager Carla attended animal welfare protests, cared for injured wildlife and featured on ‘Newsround’ BBC when rescuing three illegally smuggled fish! …Becoming a AFI ambassador therefore seems exactly where she should be!
‘I’m really humbled & grateful to have become apart of AFI and all the incredible, compassionate people and charities it has introduced me to.’
